Dr Howard Bath

Position: Director

Dr Howard Bath joined the Anglicare NT Board in April 2015 and is a Clinical Psychologist with a long history working in the child protection, youth justice and mental health sectors. He has held a variety of clinical, research, teaching and management roles and currently provides consultancy and training services across Australia and internationally.

Howard was the inaugural Children’s Commissioner for the NT (2008 – 2015) and focused on the wellbeing of vulnerable children. He presents widely at conferences, is commissioned to evaluate programs and has authored numerous clinical and research-based chapters and papers. He is co-author (with Dr John Seita) of The Three Pillars of Transforming care: Trauma and resilience in the other 23 hours (Faculty of Education Press, University of Winnipeg).
