Are you able to help with bond assistance?

Can I volunteer at Anglicare NT?
Yes, volunteers help with several of our services including Meals on Wheels in Alice Springs, ReStore secondhand shop in Darwin and the Community Visitors Scheme across the NT. When possible we can provide assistance to people who have study or work experience requirements. Please contact us on 08 8985 0000.
Can you help with low-interest loans?
In Alice Springs, the No Interest Loans Scheme provides people on low incomes with access to credit for essential household items, without burden of fees, charges and interest payments. To qualify for a loan, you must have a Centrelink Healthcare card or Pension card and have lived in the area for at least 3 months. In Darwin, the No Interest Loans for Vehicles Scheme provides people on low incomes with access to credit for the purchase of a vehicle, without burden of fees, charges and interest payments. To qualify for a loan, you must be on a low income or have a Centrelink Healthcare card. Can you help with water bills?
Anglicare NT are allocated a limited amount of vouchers to assist with water bills. Phone 08 8946 4800.
Do you have accommodation?
The Youth Accommodation Support Services (YASS) provides medium-term housing for young people aged 15 to 19 years who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Darwin and Katherine. There is an assessment process and external support is provided. Phone 8946 4800.

The Katherine Family Accommodation Support Service (KFASS) provides short to medium-term housing program for families who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Phone 8963 6100.

The Transitional Housing Program in Alice Springs provides short-term accommodation, case management support and tenancy skills training to homeless families and individuals to help them gain and sustain long-term housing. Phone 8959 4400.

Community Housing in Alice Springs provides secure, affordable accommodation for families and individuals who are working and earn a low to moderate income. Phone 8959 4400.

Do you have food vouchers?
Anglicare NT has a small amount of funding each year to help young people, aged under 25 years, in financial distress. Please phone 08 8946 4800. Other options include:

Is there a cost for your programs?
Most of our services are free; however the following attract a charge:

Resolve Counselling, Mediation and Education
Resolve use a sliding scale to set fees for Counselling, Family Dispute Resolution, For the Kids and Parenting Programs. Let us know if you are experiencing financial difficulties or are on a low income. Fees will be negotiated at your first appointment.

Some Home Support & Respite Program services attract a small fee.  Contact your local Anglicare NT office for more information.
