Launch of Annual Report 2021-22

The Anglicare NT Annual Report 2021-22 was launched in November by Board Chair Richard Giles at our annual Year in Review meeting. Larrakia man James Parfitt gave a moving Welcome to Country and The Right Reverend Dr Greg Anderson offered a Welcome Prayer. Departing CEO Dave Pugh gave the main address and Simone Pettiford gave a snapshot of our operations in East Arnhem. We were joined by staff, stakeholders, funding bodies and collaborative partners for this annual showcase of our work.

The report reflects the impact the organisation has made in the lives of 21,517 Territorians over the past year. 379 staff and 80 volunteers delivered 90 different services and capacity building activities across the Northern Territory. We reflect on our achievements against our previous Strategic Plan 2019-22 and acknowledge the launch of our new plan, which will lead the direction of the organisation to 2025.

Highlights of the past year include the continuation of our Aboriginal Reference Group, launching the Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan 2021-24, holding the 10th Couch Surfing event, welcoming new services from Somerville Community Services, opening headspace Palmerston, establishing a new service for disordered eating at headspace Darwin and increasing our partnerships with other organisations.
