Can you help with low-interest loans?

No Interest Loans (NILs) provide people on low incomes with safe, fair and affordable credit. Loans can be used for things like fridges, washing machines, car repairs or medical expenses.

Loans can be between $300 – $2,000 and repayments are set at an affordable rate over a 12-24 month period. To be eligible you must have a Health Care or Pension card, or earn less than $57,000 a year after tax ($75,000 for joint applicants or people with children).

In Darwin, No Interest Loans for Vehicles provides people on low incomes with access to credit for the purchase of a vehicle, without burden of fees, charges and interest payments. To qualify for a loan, you must be on a low income or have a Centrelink Healthcare card.
