Position: Director People & Culture

Sandy is an experienced and values driven senior People and Culture leader, providing strategic and operational leadership across the organisation’s people, capability and culture functions. She is a proud southern Arrente and Luritja woman who has spent her career working in Aboriginal controlled organisations across health, education, community services and the private sector, bringing deep cultural knowledge and strong sector expertise to her role.

Sandy leads a friendly, responsive and values driven People & Culture team, overseeing human resources advisory, payroll, recruitment and onboarding, employee relations, learning and development, workers compensation and work health and safety. She works closely with executive and senior leaders to deliver contemporary, culturally informed workforce strategies that strengthen organisational capability, leadership and performance.

She is passionate about ensuring Anglicare NT staff are culturally safe, supported and empowered in the workplace. Sandy leads our Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Workforce Development Strategy and plays a key role in embedding culturally safe practices and advancing priorities aligned to the Reconciliation Action Plan.
