Ann Buxton

Position: Deputy CEO

Ann joined Anglicare NT in 1996 and has held a range of operational, senior and executive roles within the organisation. As Deputy CEO, Ann oversights our quality and impact, communications, service and practice development along with our East Arnhem Regional Operations and central Support Coordination unit.

Originally from Melbourne, Ann has qualifications in Youth Work and a Master of Development Management. She has lived and worked in the Northern Territory since 1986, apart from 3 years in Fiji working in community development. With an extensive background in youth work, women’s development, child and family services, homelessness responses, suicide prevention and capacity building, Ann has played a key role in diversifying our scope of services, growing Anglicare NT’s funding base, change management and embedding bicultural service delivery models.
