Position: Director Business Development
Emma joined Anglicare NT in 2025, bringing with her a strong background in law and public policy, with experience spanning government and the private sector. For the past 17 years, she has dedicated her career to the community services sector, working alongside organisations to strengthen outcomes for local communities.
As Director of Business Development, Emma specialises in community services grants, contracts and funding, with extensive expertise in quality frameworks and data systems. Working as part of the Strategy Unit, her work takes a strategic approach with operational insight and commitment to building a sustainable, high‑performing organisation. Emma is dedicated to supporting community-led services and ensuring funding, compliance and data systems genuinely enable positive social impact across the Northern Territory.
Emma is an Aboriginal (Yaruw) and Torres Strait Islander (Naghir) woman from the Northern Territory, with personal and professional connections to the communities she serves. She grew up across Alice Springs, Darwin and the Barkly, shaping her understanding of regional, remote and urban contexts in the Territory. After spending several years living and working in Far North Queensland, Emma returned to Darwin to be closer to home, family and community.
