Ms Clarissa Comerford
Clarissa has been a registered nurse for 38 years and has worked for many of those years in the primary health sector. Since completing a Masters in Clinical Nursing in 2006, Clarissa has worked in both education and remote health. She has lived in Alice Springs for nine years and is currently General Manager of the Ngaanyatjarra Health Service which provides remote health services to the communities of the Ngaanyatjarra Lands located in the Western Desert of WA.
Clarissa has a strong interest in the health and welfare of the Aboriginal people; particularly in the concept of cultural safety across service delivery.
