Top End Suicide Intervention and Awareness Training
TESIAT is funded by NT Department of Health to provide suicide intervention and awareness training at a subsidised rate to government and non-government agencies, the general public and targeted communities across the Top End of the Northern Territory.
- training programs are developed by LivingWorks Education Inc. and are one of the most widely used suicide prevention training programs operating in over 12 countries
- program offers both the skills based 2 day LivingWorks Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop and a half day Suicide Awareness session SafeTALK
- trainers use standardised and regularly revised material
- workshops are conducted regularly
