Support at Home

Support at Home is the Australian Government’s new in-home aged care program, which started on the 1 November 2025 as part of the new Aged Care Act.

Starting from 1 November, Support at Home replaces Home Care Packages.

Support at Home can include support for:

• Clinical care – such as nursing, occupational therapy and continence care.
• Independence – such as help with getting dressed, taking medications, transport or respite care.
• Everyday living – such as cleaning, gardening, shopping or meal preparation.

If you received support from Anglicare NT as part of a Home Care Package, our staff will help you move to Support at Home and update your care plan. This will involve completing a new budget and service agreement to align with the new program.
