Support at Home

Support at Home helps older people remain at home as they age by delivering coordinated care and services to meet their assessed ageing related care needs. It was introduced on the 1 November 2025 as the Australian Government’s new in-home aged care program under the new Aged Care Act.

Support at Home can include support for:

• Clinical care – such as nursing, occupational therapy and continence care.
• Independence – such as help with getting dressed, taking medications, transport or respite care.
• Everyday living – such as cleaning, gardening, shopping or meal preparation.
