Moving On

Moving On is an After Care Support and Brokerage service for young people who have left the care of the CEO of Territory Families, Housing and Communities. The service is aimed at young people aged 16 to 25 years who may need assistance to maintain independence.

The service operates Northern Territory wide with workers based in Darwin and Alice Springs.

Moving On staff can assist with:

• Information and referrals
• Accommodation advice
• Brokerage assistance
• Access to health and legal services
• Support for education, training and employment matters
• Exploring ideas and options about your future

Housing for Young People (HYPP) is delivered as part of Moving On in the Greater Darwin region. Through a collaboration with Mission Australia, HYPP helps young people aged 18 to 25 years to access appropriate, affordable, safe and secure housing in the private rental market. For more information, contact us on 08 8946 4800.
