Money Support Hub
The East Arnhem Money Support Hub provides free, confidential, culturally-informed financial counselling, advocacy and financial literacy workshops to individuals, families and groups. We work closely with community leaders and community partner organisations.
Services are offered on location, through scheduled visits, telephone support and videoconferencing to Nhulunbuy, Yirrkala, Galiwin’ku, Milingimbi, Ramingining, Gapuwiyak, Alyangula, Angurugu, Umbakumba, Milyakburra, Numbulwar and key homelands.
We assist people to develop budgets and help with any money issues such debts, banking problems, superannuation and Centrelink to improve their financial situation. We raise awareness about consumer traps and advocate for improved services from financial institutions for remote First Nations communities.
