Alice Springs Housing Support Services
Housing Support Services (HSS) help people get and keep housing. Support workers help with issues such as health, employment, money matters, schooling and domestic violence and make sure everyone gets the right support. Clients learn new skills to live independently; for example, keeping the house safe and tidy, money planning and managing visitors.
The Transitional Housing Program provides case management support and tenancy skills training to homeless families and individuals to help them gain and sustain long-term housing. Transitional accommodation is provided to enable clients’ participation in the program.
The Tenancy Sustainability Programs (Urban and Town Camps) provides case management support and tenancy skills training to public housing tenants and applicants to help them to achieve sustainable long term housing.
