About the Position
The Financial Counsellor, Problem Gambling will work within the Money Matters team to further develop the Financial Counselling program in the Katherine region. The position will support Anglicare NT’s service delivery across the Northern Territory through the provision of casework which incorporates support, advocacy, negotiation, debt recovery, budgeting and assisting with bills and bankruptcy for individuals, families and groups of consumers.
We are seeking an individual that holds a Diploma, Financial Counselling plus 3 problem gambling counselling units of competency (or willingness to undertake study to attain qualification within 12 months of commencement). Certificate IV in Training & Assessment is desirable, in order to effectively facilitate group educational sessions.
