About the Position
As the Counsellor- Victims of Crime, you will provide professional counselling services using restorative counselling practices with experience in grief and loss and trauma counselling to support clients and or families/friends/children to resolve issues they face as a direct result, witnessing or being affected by a crime.
With a tertiary qualification in an appropriate social science discipline, you will also have significant counselling experience and a commitment to working with children, youth, individuals and families. You will also be required to have up to date knowledge of relevant legislation such as the Family Law Act, Child Protection, Domestic/Family Violence related Acts/Bills.
