About the Position
Together with the NT Council of Churches, Anglicare NT is funded by the NT Department of Correctional Services to employ Coordinating Chaplains in the Darwin and Alice Springs Correctional Centres.
The Coordinating Chaplain provides pastoral care to prisoners and staff, facilitates the conduct of services of worship and other visits by representatives of all faiths, and provide studies and other programs and resources to prisoners in consultation with Department of Correctional Services personnel.
Recently the Coordinating Chaplain for the Darwin Correctional Precinct resigned. We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced person to share the position whilst a review process is undertaken prior to ongoing recruitment.
