About the Position

Together with the NT Council of Churches, Anglicare NT is funded by the NT Department of Correctional Services to provide chaplaincy services to the Darwin Correctional Precinct.

The Co-ordinating Chaplain is responsible for the provision and oversight of spiritual support and pastoral care for prisoners; liaison and support to prisoners’ families; and recruitment and coordination of religious volunteers to provide religious services, rituals and ceremonies.

Our preference is to employ a fulltime chaplain but we would consider the engagement of two part time chaplains to the position.
