The Multicultural Walking Group is back!

Starting Wednesday 1 April 2026, the Multicultural Walking Group returns to STEPS Casuarina and everyone is welcome.

Led by Anglicare NT’s Refugee and Migrant Settlement Services (RAMSS) in partnership with STEPS Casuarina and the Heart Foundation, this initiative began three years ago as a small walking group supporting newly arrived migrants and refugees.

Now we’re excited to grow it even bigger — creating a welcoming space focused on community cohesion, where people from all backgrounds can come together to walk, connect, share experiences and learn about services and opportunities available in our community.

We invite everyone in the Darwin community — local residents, students, service providers and organisations — to join us for a relaxed morning walk and meaningful conversations.

  • Free breakfast and coffee
  • Friendly walk together
  • A welcoming space to connect and belong

At STEPS Casuarina
Every Wednesday
8:00am breakfast | 8:30am walk begins

Whether you’re new to Darwin or have lived here for years, come walk with us and be part of a more connected community.
