Anglicare NT has been chosen as the successful provider to deliver a Financial Counselling, Capability and Resilience Hub in Nhulunbuy and the East Arnhem region. The announcement was made by the Department of Social Services in early 2016.

“Anglicare NT’s financial services assist individuals and families to navigate life transitions and financial crises and help build financial capability and resilience. We do this by providing information, options, support and financial literacy education, as well as microfinance loans for essential household goods.”
“Our Financial Counsellors help people struggling with bills and debts to get back on track. Our Capability Workers assist clients to develop budgeting skills and avoid scams.”
“We are proud of our provision of financial services over many years and we look forward to establishing the new hub in East Arnhem.”
The new hub will offer Financial Counselling and Capability services to support people in Nhulunbuy and surrounding communities. An innovative behavioural change approach will also be trialed as part of the Financial Hub. The Hub will operate from 1 February 2016 – 30 June 2017.
