Launch of Annual Report 2024-25

The Anglicare NT Annual Report 2024-25 was launched on Thursday 20 November by board chair Richard Giles at an event for friends, partners and funders.

We were joined by Edwin Fejo who welcomed us to Larrakia Country, the Venerable Simon Koefoed representing Bishop Greg Anderson, funders, friends and board members.

We thank keynote speaker Brent Warren, CEO Department of Children and Families, who shared about the importance of working in partnership. Anglicare NT Director of Mental Health Bev Pavkovich presented on the headspace Darwin Early Psychosis program. Bev emphasised the importance of getting professional help early and the effectiveness of the culturally-informed wraparound supports provided at headspace for young person and their families. The event was brilliantly MC’d by staff from our youth team, Maddie Roe and Kylie Starr.

Anglicare NT proudly partnered with 22,324 Territorians last financial year, delivering 90 diverse services that support people of all ages and stages of life. We strengthened our commitment to reconciliation by launching our fourth Reconciliation Action Plan, embedding cultural safety across our programs and workforce. Our focus on regional service delivery grew with the launch of the Big Rivers Regional Plan and the commencement of planning for Central Australia. Many of our initiatives prioritise early intervention and prevention, helping young people and families to thrive. Beyond this, we provide vital support in housing and homelessness, mental health and wellbeing, financial inclusion, counselling and mediation, services for older people and those living with disability, as well as programs for people in prison and on parole.
