Top End Suicide Intervention & Awareness Training
TESIAT is funded by NT Dept of Health & Community Services (Mental Health) to provide suicide intervention and awareness training at a subsidised rate to government and non-government agencies, the general public and targeted communities across the top end of the Northern Territory.

Program offers both the skills based 2 day Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) workshop and a half day Suicide Awareness session.

Training programs are developed by LivingWorks (Lifeline) and is one of the most widely used suicide prevention training programs operating in over 12 countries.

Trainers use standardised and regularly revised material.

Programs for adults interested in improving their capacity to effectively intervene when someone is showing suicidal behaviour.

Workshops are conducted regularly.
