Darwin Respite Service

Darwin Respite Service offers a flexible, client focussed service for people with a disability and their families. The service is funded by the Commonwealth State and Territory Disability Agreement. The service provides a qualified Disability Support Worker for a maximum of 5 hours per week for one on one support. A fee of $4.00 per hour applies. Services can involve

• Support for people aged 16 – 64 years who do not live in funded supported accommodation. 
• Community access or in home respite. 
• Advocacy, information and referrals 
• Individual Program Plan written in consultation with families 
• Support to people in Darwin, Palmerston and Rural area

Darwin Respite Brokerage Service

Darwin Respite Brokerage Service is a non funded flexible, client focussed respite support for individuals with a disability and their families who are unable to access the funded service. The service provides a qualified Disability Support Worker. Hourly rate applies of $42.00 per hour.

• Specifically tailored respite support for families of people with a disability. The support can be delivered in a variety of forms including, individuals own home, community or day respite. Transport can be arranged if required

This service operates 7 days a week offering flexible service delivery.
