Darwin Respite Service offers a flexible, client focussed service for people with a disability and their families. The service is funded by the NT Department of Health. The service provides a qualified Disability Support Worker for a maximum of 5 hours per week for one-on-one support. A small hourly fee applies. Services can involve

•     Support for people aged 16 – 64 years who do not live in funded supported accommodation.
•     Community access or in-home respite.
•     Advocacy, information and referrals.
•     An Individual Program Plan developed in consultation with families

Darwin Respite Brokerage Service is a non-funded flexible, client focussed respite support for individuals with a disability and their families who are unable to access the funded service. The service provides a qualified Disability Support Worker. An hourly fee applies.

• Specifically tailored respite support for families of people with a disability.
• The support can be delivered at an individuals own home or in the community.
  
• Transport can be arranged if required.
