Refugee and Migrant Settlement Services (RAMSS)
RAMSS is a free and confidential service to Refugees and Migrants. RAMSS’ focus is to empower individuals and families to independently utilise a broad range of services in the community.
- Available to Refugees and Migrants who have lived in Darwin, Palmerston and rural areas for less than five years.

Provides settlement information, referrals and support to individuals and families across a wide range of issues such as accommodation, income concerns, health, police & legal issues, education, employment and Immigration.

Advocacy role within the community.
Anglicare NT has received funding from the Department of Immigration and Citizenship (DIAC) under the Citizenship Support Grant Program. This is a one year pilot program.
The new Citizenship Resource Service offers support to permanent residents who live in the Northern Territory and are eligible to become Australian citizens. The aim is to assist eligible residents to prepare to sit for and pass the Australian Citizenship test. Advice is also provided on the citizenship application process and ceremony.
This is a free and confidential service. Regular information sessions are held covering topic on ‘How to apply for Australian Citizenship’ and studying material from the ‘Becoming an Australian Citizen’ booklet.
