Anglicare manages Prison Chaplaincy services in Darwin and Alice Springs on behalf of the Northern Territory Council of Churches.

The service is ecumenical with a part-time coordinator working in each of the two Correctional Centres.

Religious services are provided each week by a number of groups from different Christian and other religious traditions.  The Coordinating chaplains maintain a roster of service providers.

The chaplains are involved with pastoral support, delivery of programs and other support services, and advocacy within the prisons.
