Accomodation Support Services to People with a Disability

Anglicare NT’s Disability Support Service provides a range of accommodation support services to people with a disability and their families in the Central Australian region

• The range of accommodation support provided to people with a disability includes support in the person’s own home, in households located within suburban Alice Springs and on the St Mary’s campus.
• As many of the people receiving support from Anglicare’s Disability Service come from remote Aboriginal communities within the Territory and South Australia, every effort is made to assist each person to remain connected with their family and community.
• Short term respite care is also provided for men and women with a disability from the Anangu Pitjantjatjara Yankunytjatjara (APY) lands in partnership with the NPY Women's Council.
