Communities for Children – Seeking Expressions of Interest

The Australian Government Department of Social Services has funded Anglicare NT as the Communities for Children Facilitating Partner (CfCFP) for Alice Springs and East Arnhem.

CfCFP is seeking Expressions of Interest from eligible organisations to deliver inclusive and accessible activities that positive outcomes for children (up to 12 years of age) and their families.

East Arnhem

Successful organisation’s proposals will:

  • Meet DSS Guidelines
  • Be child safe and strengths based
  • Use early intervention and prevention approaches
  • Be evidence-based or are working towards becoming evidence-based
  • Demonstrate cultural competency and engage appropriately qualified & supported staff
  • Meet contractual requirements, including data collection and reporting
  • Value add to the regional or community specific service system and address local priorities
  • Promote Indigenous employment opportunities
  • Be provided free of charge to participants

Alice Springs

Contracted services need to ensure that their CfC Activities:

  • Are accessible to target groups, i.e. Indigenous people and culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
  • Use early intervention and prevention approaches.
  • Are evidence-based or are working towards becoming evidence-based.
  • Are provided free of charge.
  • Have appropriately qualified staff.
  • Demonstrate cultural competency.
  • Have the capacity to meet contractual requirements, including data collection and reporting.
