Paperbark Launch 10th – 12th August – Maningrida
The Project Launch in Maningrida included an array of activities at different venues to introduce the Paperbark Project and build collaborative working relationships with service providers and the local community. This included drumming and nutrition based activities with young mums at the Playgroup, a childbirth education session with young women at the Safe House and craft, healthy eating and pampering activities at the local nursery. These activities were all followed by a group cook up using flour drums to promote healthy eating for families. Each of the participants were given a flour drum.
